Dynery 1 Louder —
The Complete Product &
Experience Roadmap

Named after Level 11 and the Spinal Tap principle: if everything else goes to 10, Dynery goes to 11. Every feature. Every platform. Every integration. Every vignette. This is the product specification that makes it real.

Epics: 12 product areas · 130+ capabilities Platforms: Consumer iOS/Android · Operator Tablet · Backend · Web New: Participation financing · DoorDash disintermediation · Rhythmic outreach engine · Experience Coach
The "1 Louder" Vision

The Vignette Is the Product. Everything Else Is Infrastructure.

A vignette is a small, evocative story — a snapshot that captures the essence of a moment without exhausting its meaning. Every platform interaction should produce or enrich a vignette. If a feature doesn't make a vignette better, it is optional. If it does, it is mandatory. "Kabuki theater" is the metaphor for the dining experience: every gesture is loaded with meaning, designed to produce emotional impact. The Experience Coach tablet app is the promptbook for that kabuki theater — it tells the server what the audience has seen before, what moment they are waiting for, and what the next gesture should be.

The Mandatory ROI Statement — For Every Operator Conversation

For Every $1 Spent on Dynery's Experience Fee, the Restaurant Gets $12.50 Back

A $1.2M independent restaurant that fully activates Dynery's seven experience arcs generates $420,856 in additional annual revenue against a $33,600 all-in Dynery cost. The ROI multiple is 12.5× in Year 1. For the 3% experience fee to not be worth it, every experience arc would have to fail simultaneously. The probability of that outcome approaches zero when the platform is properly activated. The honest risk: the model only holds if the experience arcs are actually activated. This is why Dynery Academy and the Certified designation are not optional features. They are the mechanism by which the 3% becomes defensible.

Epic 7 — The Rhythmic Outreach Engine
07
Operator Outreach & Guest Relationship EngineOccasion Triggers · Lapsed Guest · Memory Resurfacing · Milestone Celebration · Never Promotional — Always Experiential
OperatorBackend

The outreach philosophy: every message references a memory, a milestone, or an occasion. Frequency is governed by behavioral rhythm — Dynery knows each guest's typical return interval and calibrates outreach so it arrives just before they would naturally think of coming back. Never aggressive. Always welcome. Always a vignette.

1
Occasion
Upcoming
The Occasion Advance — "Your moment is coming"
2–3 weeks before birthday or anniversary. Activates occasion credit. Makes restaurant feel like it was thinking of them.
"Your birthday is coming. Your $100 Dynery credit is waiting at Anchovies & Salt. Reserve your evening."
2
Lapsed
Guest
The "We Haven't Seen You" — absence as invitation
Triggered when time since last visit exceeds personal return interval by 40%. Not surveillance language — restaurant voice, genuine wanting.
"It's been a while. The Hội An room has new light this season — and the gà xào sả ớt is better than it was in February. We'd love to make a new vignette."
3
Memory
Resurface
The Memory Resurface — "Remember this?"
1-year anniversary of a memorable visit. Resurfaces the vignette. No ask, no discount — just the memory, then the gentle invitation.
"One year ago tonight, you were in the Hội An room. Your vignette from that evening is waiting. This year's version is yours to write."
4
New
Story
The Seasonal Update — "A new story at [Restaurant]"
When a restaurant updates their Dish Story Archive (seasonal menu). Not "new menu available" — a story.
"Quyen has added a new dish to the sauce bar this spring — the first new addition in two years. It has a story you should hear in person."
5
Companion
Reconnect
The Companion Reconnect — "Make a memory together"
When experience graph shows a frequent companion the guest hasn't shared a recent meal with. Framed around a shared memory.
"You and Carter haven't made a vignette together since November. There's a table at Sushi Kashiba with your history in it."
6
Milestone
Moment
The Milestone — loyalty and dining achievements
10th visit, 50th Dynery meal, 5 restaurants in the network. Not a "congratulations" — an elevation.
"Your 10th evening at Anchovies & Salt. Quyen asked us to tell you: you're not a guest anymore. You're a regular."

Epic 11 — The Participation Model
11
Dynery Financing & Participation ModelsSlot Machine Model · Deferred Fee · Proof-of-ROI Threshold · Revenue Share
Business Model
The Slot Machine Analogy

The Casino Finances the Machine. Both Parties Win When Play Reaches Critical Mass.

The casino slot machine model: the casino finances the machine's placement, both parties share revenue until the participation threshold is met, and the casino's interest aligns perfectly with maximizing play. Dynery uses the same structure to eliminate the operator's upfront risk — making the "no-brainer" pitch into a literal no-risk offer.

A
Proof-of-ROI Model

Dynery charges 3% (processing only) for first 90 days. Experience 3% is deferred. At day 90, Dynery delivers a ROI report: return visit lift, spend increase, advocacy-acquired new guests. If ROI demonstrated, full 6% activates. If not, operator exits with deferred fee forgiven — but only if Academy was completed during the 90-day period. Activation required to earn the exit right.

B
Participation Model

Dynery charges 4.5% base during participation period. When Dynery-attributed revenue uplift exceeds 10× accumulated fees, rate drops to 5% permanently as "proven model" discount. The restaurant's success above the threshold earns a lower long-term rate. Aligned incentives: Dynery actively wants to prove the ROI as fast as possible — exactly like the casino wanting maximum play.

C
Deferred Launch Model

First 30 days: 0% experience fee (3% processing goes to processing cost only). Experience 3% accumulates as a "participation balance" that Dynery agrees to forgive if the restaurant achieves Certified status within 12 months. Drop out: balance is due. Complete the Academy: balance forgiven. Structure rewards activation; penalizes abandonment; makes Academy completion economically rational.

The financing innovation: All three models solve the same problem — the operator's fear that the 3% experience fee might not deliver the ROI. Each model removes risk while maintaining Dynery's incentive alignment with operator activation. The model that ships first should be whichever requires the least operational infrastructure. Model A (90-day deferred) is the simplest to start with.

DoorDash Disintermediation & Delivery IntelligenceDirect Ordering Channel · Attribution Tracking · Commission Reduction
BackendOperator
The Disintermediation Strategy

DoorDash Charges 15–30%. Dynery Charges 0% on Direct Orders.

Level 1 — Direct Channel: Build a commission-free direct ordering channel within Dynery Pay. For Dynery network guests ordering from Dynery network restaurants, direct ordering in-app at 0% commission. Operator offers 50–100 bonus Dining Points for ordering direct. Redirecting even 20% of delivery orders on a $500K revenue restaurant saves $25,000/year — more than the annual Dynery experience fee.

Level 2 — The Attribution Chargeback (Innovative / Long-Term): Dynery's behavioral dataset can demonstrate which DoorDash delivery orders originated from Dynery-acquired guests. "This guest received a Memory Card from a friend, visited twice for dine-in, then started ordering via DoorDash." That is a Dynery-acquired guest being taxed by DoorDash on every subsequent order. The referral fee argument — Dynery can eventually negotiate with delivery platforms, or operators can use the data to demand lower DoorDash rates. This inverts the current model and is genuinely innovative in the restaurant tech space.

Build Now (P0)

The launch-critical capabilities for v1.1 "1 Louder." These features define what Dynery IS — vignette engine, payment processing, table management, Experience Coach, Known Guest Protocol. Without these, Dynery is not yet the platform described in the operator pitch.

Already Exist

The current Dynery app already has the behavioral identity model, discovery, reservations, Dining Points, and notification infrastructure. "1 Louder" builds on a real foundation — this is not starting from zero. It is going to 11.

"1 Louder" is not a version number. It is a commitment: every feature in Dynery should take the dining experience one level further than any competitor thought possible. The vignette is the proof. Every meal leaves a story. That story belongs to the guest, the restaurant, and the moment — and Dynery is the platform that makes sure it is never lost.
